Where Art and Indie juxtapose to create groundbreaking cinema. Inquilab Studio’s vision is to develop and support cinema which is ready to take that leap of faith in making cinema that speaks from its original core.

The Studio wants to support projects from across the genres with the genesis of Inquilab in their storytelling and form.

Prayas Deepti, Producer

For Prayas, cinema is an extension of his own self of how he looks at life. He produced Kabir Mehta's short Nitty Gritty Punjab Police and they are currently working on another short. He also produced Rajesh Jala's first feature The Spark which premiered at BIFF 2023.

Prayas was part of Film Bazaar Producers Lab (NFDC) in 2019 and has been actively working with the community of Indie Filmmakers and producers in India. He looks forward to collaborating with more Indie voices and take their vision ahead.

He's currently producing Vishwendra Singh's first feature Khoriya which is in post-production an India-Nepal Co-production.

He is also developing another feature with Sukhansaar Singh titled Sakura which was part of SWL 2022.
